You may have reached this point

The business is moving faster than the way it runs.

Growth has added customers, people, channels, or complexity—but the operating model underneath has not kept pace.

These are not simply technology problems. They are signs that important decisions and systems now need senior ownership across the business.

  • 01

Leadership cannot get one reliable view of performance without manual reconciliation.

  • 02

Important operations still depend on spreadsheets, workarounds, or knowledge held by a few people.

  • 03

The founder remains the escalation point for systems, data, and cross-functional decisions.

The missing capability

Not another tool. Senior ownership of the decision.

When systems start holding back growth, the gap is rarely solved by buying software or adding development capacity alone. The business needs someone who can connect commercial priorities, operating reality, data, and technology.

Cambit takes senior ownership of that question: deciding what should change, making the case for it, and staying close enough to ensure the response works in practice.

That may become a focused strategy engagement, an embedded leadership remit, or fractional CTO, CSO, or COO responsibility. The problem defines the role—not the title.

One partner from direction to delivery.

Cambit connects the decision, the build, and the ongoing ownership so the business outcome does not get lost between advisers, software vendors, and delivery teams.

01

Set the direction

Clarify the business problem, commercial priorities, economics, and build-versus-buy decisions before committing people or capital.

02

Build the system

Deliver the data, automation, operational tooling, or product foundations needed when standard software does not solve the real problem.

03

Keep it working

Support, maintain, and continue improving the system as the business, its team, and its priorities evolve.

How we engage

A clear path from question to capability.

Discovery is a paid, fixed-scope engagement with a concrete output. There is no obligation to continue, but the plan is designed to move naturally into delivery.

  1. 01

    Intro

Start with one specific operational or growth problem.

  2. 02

    Discover

Map the problem and leave with an executable plan, costs, and sequence.

  3. 03

    Build

Deliver the system with the right specialist capability around it.

  4. 04

    Run

Maintain, support, and keep improving it as the business changes.

Selected work

Working systems. Measurable change.

The details stay private. The business problem, the work, and the result do not need to be vague.

01

UK healthcare manufacturing group

Eight businesses, one performance view.

Cambit joined fragmented data across eight businesses into a live group-wide view of customers and performance. The work identified a seven-figure annual revenue opportunity within the existing customer base, then handed the platform over for the client team to run independently.

02

Premium retail & e-commerce business

Growth that no longer runs through the founder.

Embedded strategy and commercial leadership strengthened the operating model, supported a senior operations hire, prepared the business for outside investment, and established an ongoing partnership to build the technology behind its growth.

Strong fit

A consequential problem and the appetite to diagnose it properly.

Cambit is built for established owner-led businesses with real operational complexity, a clear reason to act, and no senior in-house owner spanning strategy, systems, and delivery.

Less likely to fit

Capacity without ownership.

This is not ad hoc development capacity, a free technology roadmap, or a predetermined implementation where the underlying business problem is off limits.

Start with the problem

Bring us the problem holding back the next stage of growth.

If there is a clear case for action, the next step is a focused, fixed-scope Discovery with a concrete output.
